53: What was your first day back like?

Today was mostly spent helping out other people. The first day of a new, very short, half term is usually like that. Today, I:

  • helped fix the photocopier
  • unjammed the laminator
  • fixed two smart board issues
  • found a missing jigsaw piece
  • taught three lessons (most of Monday is my PPA – planning, preparation and assessment – time)
  • organised ten pupil logins for new accounts
  • listened to some Year 1 children read

and probably many other little things I’ve forgotten about.

Quite a productive day overall.
