Today was a quick day at work, tying up loose ends before having the afternoon for PPA time and Friday for the Grand Prix – this is a long standing arrangement, miss a few PPAs in order to take a day out of class.
This afternoon and evening, apart from band, has been hectic. Getting the house tidy for Mrs Pitts’ sister to come and cat sit took up lots of the evening, but also making sure Cappy and Kit had everything they needed too.
I’m very excited about the next three days, I’m sure the memories of nine years ago will come flooding back once I’m there. Although there have been many changes to the circuit in that time. Becketts will be somewhere I spend a fair amount of time I think, along with the ends of the two main straights, Hangar and Wellington. I remember how awesome the braking power of the cars were – that and the noise!
Anyway, the laptop is coming with me and I intend to blog as normal before bed. There just might be lots of car photographs!
