I refer to this blasted migraine which has dominated my week really. It is still hanging around my head – less obviously than a few days ago, but it’s still there. Today’s main effect was a struggle to read the chosen chapter of The Midnight Fox to my class; Mrs Kennedy, my teaching assistant, had to take over while I got a quick drink and reset my mind! The woman is fabulous.
Anyway, the day at work was good in the end – I had expected it to be a little tricky as all the rest of the days this week have been simply wonderful. It’s rare that you get a full week where pretty much everything goes to plan. If it wasn’t for my head, it would have been much better.
The evening involved a brief shopping trip and some tidying around, but mostly resting to be honest.
I plan to rest a lot tomorrow too – I need it. The weather appears to be fine and so we will make a second attempt to build our raised beds.
Other than the Bahrain Grand Prix and a small child to entertain on Sunday for a birthday party (I haven’t forgotten your birthday either Helen), we have little planned and I’m looking forward to that.
