Today has been another long day. The morning featured assessments at school, with the children sat working quietly and well on their own. The afternoon was disrupted by a few things: some children being borrowed by their maths teacher (I teach a separate cohort of children for maths to my usual bunch) to complete some work from earlier in the day and others being taken to make a pancake in another part of the school. We know that Shrove Tuesday is tomorrow. Too much happening in school though so Pancake Monday it was…
Tomorrow is another day when I am not going to be in class for a full day. Certainly, it is unusual for so much of my time to be elsewhere – in fact only two of the six weeks this half term come anywhere close to being a “normal” week. Anyway, tomorrow morning is being spent in school conducting some in house training with teaching assistants. I have two hours to fill and about five minutes of it planned…
Tonight was a long rehearsal with Knottingley Silver before the areas on March 3rd. I will only have three more rehearsals before then so things shouldn’t be too taxing time wise. There may be additional ones thrown in but I’ll cross that bridge when I get to it.
