A great day at work. My barely planned training went down a treat, and I proved to myself that I really do know what I’m talking about. This may be a bit of a turning point for the future. We shall see. I really don’t enjoy being away from my class as I’ve said before, but this was very worthwhile. Everyone involved has told me how much they got out of the morning. Hugely positive!
The evening was spent having a bit of time with Mrs Pitts, after last night’s trip to rehearse, playing on our Wii after a lovely tea of soup and pancakes – it was inevitable that these were to be a feature of today’s menu.
I learnt today that I am not good with pancakes – although Mrs Pitts reminded me that I wasn’t particularly good with them last year. I don’t recall this at all. I can do the eating part, it’s the cooking bit I struggle with. The moral may well be never give a mathematician a frying pan.
Work has a visit from an Archbishop tomorrow… Best behaviour is key. And that’s from me, not the kids.
