Day 41: Lots Of Stuff

Nanny McPhee

Not much happened today. I did some work, found a cache (GC239ZK), felt like rubbish, had a nap, went to Grange Moor for a rehearsal (curtailed due to snow), watched Nanny McPhee and accepted an offer to play in three week’s time at the Yorkshire Areas for Knottingley Silver – looking forward to that.

I hadn’t seen Nanny McPhee before. As a teacher, those kids reminded me of a few classes I took back in the day! But it was quite a heart warming film in the end and I can see why a sequel was made. Will have to hunt that down on Sky – apparently it was on recently.

My headaches are getting quite irritating now. Felt good for much of the day, then had to sleep because I couldn’t manage to stay awake any longer. An hour is all I needed and I felt much better.

One more week left at work this half term, and it’s not been one of those times when I’m desperate for a break. Right now, I don’t feel like I did before Christmas when getting through a day became an utter chore. The half term week is filling up with jobs for work and a couple of other things too. Looking forward to it.
