Today was difficult. My memory stick failed on me this morning. Causing panic and swearing. Thankfully, I have plenty of back ups of my work for school – however, lots of things are currently lost. I’m hoping it can be recovered. Time will tell.
In other news, today is our house-a-versary – a year since we moved in to our lovely home. As well as this, I attended a governor’s meeting and tickets were booked for Silverstone!
Speaking of Formula One, the first 2013 car was unveiled today. Lotus stole a march on its competitors with the new E21.

In 2012, Lotus won the Abu Dhabi race with Kimi Raikkonen and this car may consolidate its position amongst the top teams. It’s always hard to tell from a launch car as they develop so much during winter testing. According to Autosport.com, the “E21 is visually similar to last year’s car, but certain areas of it have undergone a wholesale redesign.”
The E21 will feature the passive double DRS that the team evaluated last year and the outfit has elected not to run with the ‘vanity panel’ that is allowed this year to hide the stepped nose.
To me, it appears quite a tidy car, and I hope Kimi Raikkonen and Romain Grosjean are able to compete to keep the racing lively!
