It was very relaxing. Yes, I know that’s the point of one but I’ve never had an actual massage before.
It was part of a spa day with Mrs Pitts – something I bought her for Christmas last year. We purposely waited until we were seriously stressed and booked it. To be honest, the facilities – at the place we got married, the Coniston Hotel – are fabulous. I loved the outdoor infinity hot tub, but wasn’t so keen on the hottest two of the three sauna/steam rooms.
Still, a very good way to enter the last stretch of 2016. It might even become a regular thing for us.
