127: What an unusual day?!

Not really a question, but more of an exclamation…

Having a bank holiday Monday, followed by a polling day Thursday makes for a very odd week at work Three day weeks sound good in theory, but in reality, the Friday is more or less pointless. The children are in a strange mood, the staff’s emotions and attention span are all over… it’s just not very easy.

Still, there were some bright parts of it. A tidier working area for me, some smaller jobs were organised which I’ve been putting off for a while, and the training day yesterday was genuinely interesting.

A busy weekend lies ahead though…
