16: How far have you walked this year?

I said earlier this year that I would be sharing the data from my FitBit Charge HR quite regularly.

Given that I’ve done very little today – except for walk a fair bit, have a Subway salad, visit my father-in-law in hospital and update 5 iPads for work – I don’t have a huge amount of stuff to write about.

Mrs Pitts’ dad is ok by the way, he is recovering from an operation earlier this week.

So far in 2016 I have walked 132,307 steps, which equates to 98.79 kilometres (61.39 miles). This is up to the end of yesterday.

This may seem quite some distance, but it is less than 0.2% around the world and, if I’d started from home I would just be about to reach the edge of Hull.

I think that’s fairly impressive.

I have exceeded my 10,000 step goal 9 times so far as well.

In other news, we had the first snow of the winter here and Kit was fascinated by it.
