Grange Moor Brass Band‘s new web site went ‘live’ (a horrible phrase) today. So far it has had over 200 visitors since the switch on at 12 o’clock. Links from Facebook and Twitter have helped boost that number too. After I have written this, I will be adding some photos to that site from this afternoon.
Speaking of which, playing in Bradford for their Christmas celebrations
was a nice experience, if a little cold. It was a well organised event – we had two dedicated members of the council looking after us – and there was a little crowd for most of the time we were playing too.

After the playing, there was a geocaching event in Keighley. Events are opportunities to gather with others are chat about geocaching. It’s a total geek fest. They are relatively rare – we’ve only attended 9 of them in four years and I can’t think of that many we’ve passed on. At the end of the day, it’s a very easy way to get a cache gap filled.
So, no work done today for the first time in ages. And it’s absolutely flown by.
