Day 172: Post-Ofsted Cocktails

Today was a lovely day. Most people at work were in a relaxed and calm mood after a hectic and difficult week.

To celebrate the fact that we got through it, and as a little thank you to Mrs Pitts for her support, I took her out for the evening. Cocktails were on the agenda again along with a meal.

For our evening meal we found ourselves at the new Trinity Centre in Leeds and at the Homemade Burger Company – a company that appears heavily influenced by the Nando’s model. Still, the food was lovely – very enjoyable.

I promised to write more tonight, but the truth is that my head is still quite busy from the events of the week and I’m finding it hard to find much to write about.

Finally for this evening, we completed a cache. This was placed near two gold post boxes created for Nicola Adams‘ Olympic medals last year (GC3TK8H). Quite why we decided to paint postboxes to celebrate, I have no idea – but there are plenty up and down the country. Still a nice simple cache to take us to 790 – Mrs Pitts reckons we can get to 1000 before we go back to school after the summer break in September.
