Well today was the day that I would be observed by Ofsted. Not the peak of my career by any means. Still, done with now and I can’t say anything about the overall result just yet.
Not much else to say except that today’s cache, GC4DHAJ, was an easy in the end but quite a tricky little one. There are many of them. Liked it.
I promise tomorrow’s post will have some actual words in it.
For now though, here is one of the radishes we have grown compared to a 50p.

That’s a massive radish.

Don’t you worry about a thing… I have learned more about math from you in 54 years than i have from anyone, including my dad, who was a mathematician! Teachers have a very unique position in life. They usually don’t glean or learn how wonderful they are until the student is as old as you are now. Watch Mr. Holland’s Opus until you know it by heart.

I LOVE Mr Holland’s Opus. That was one of the key films that hit me and made me want to teach – I saw it in the summer before I began training to teach and it really brought home to me how important it was to people.
