Day 124: A Look At History

Once more, not much has happened today. I’ve done a bit more work for the TES on retagging PSHCE resources – I still have 173 out of 951 to do, 18%. I have to get that done soon. I can see much spare time being given to it.

Outside of this, we began the day at Tong Garden Centre to purchase 360 litres of manure for our raised beds. One of them now has enough to began planting. So, er, we did.

The complete bed contains swede, cauliflower, courgette, celery, spring onion, radish, lettuce, a leek (just the one), carrot and beetroot.

Sorting all this with Mrs Pitts, along with other garden type jobs, took us until roughly 2pm. A late lunch then followed, I worked on the PSHCE things, had tea, watched Doctor Who and then worked on the Grange Moor Brass Band Facebook page. I have said I’d like to help revamp their website, and my plan to do so involves feeding updates to both Facebook and Twitter. I just thought I’d flesh it out with contest results. So going back 159 years, is the history of the band right there on that page.

Tomorrow we are off geocaching, our first real trip out for a while walking over 3 miles.
