Day 49: How Did This Happen?

Today was the first day of my half term break. I decided to get up at the normal time as I had lots I wanted to get on with and to free up time to be lazy later on in the week.

I had a dental appointment in Morley at 11am – my teeth are famously fabulous and it wasn’t a surprise when they were ok and just needed a bit of a polish.

I had other jobs to do in town too so I got on with them.

I arrived home, had lunch, wasted a bit of time. Mrs Pitts finished off the work she was doing, ate her lunch and then the plan was to visit a cat rescue centre to enquire about adopting one.

However, I had chest pain on the way and we never got there. I’ll go through the tale another day. Right now I’m laid in Dewsbury Hospital, apart from my wife for the first time in our marriage.

All will be well, I’m sure. I’ve been told this is all precautionary and nothing to worry about. That never seems to help though.
