Voting

I’ve made my views perfectly clear on where I stand on the forthcoming AV referendum. I just wanted to take this time to say that I really don’t mind how you vote as long as you get out there and exercise those muscles of democracy.

This is only the second time in history that this country will have had a referendum involving the whole electorate – the first being The United Kingdom referendum of 1975 to gauge support for the country’s continued membership of the European Economic Community (EEC). Chances like this don’t come around too often.

So, get out and vote on May 5th whether you care about it or not. Do some reading, make a decision, and stick a cross in a box.
