246: How far have you walked this year?
My FitBit tells me I have walked 170.15km in August – a total of 235,129 steps. This takes 2016’s step count to 2,050,558. My overall distance walked is now 1,497.6km and here’s how far I could have walked, if it was in a straight line… I could just be entering Lithuania, Hungary, Croatia or Iceland.

242: What is the point of remaking TV classics?
Tonight the BBC showed new versions of both Are You Being Served and Porridge. Both were awful. I don’t see the point in this exercise. The characters in Are You Being Served were pretty much as I understand them from the original version. I just don’t understand. Pointless.

240: Why did it take so long to get home?
Thanks to Bank Holiday traffic, it took five and a half hours to complete a two and three-quarter hour drive. I ache in my brain. I have plenty of photos to post and will sort them tomorrow.
