This is a ten minute timed post. Whatever I have on the screen after ten minutes is getting published.
My day has consisted of work. I have created an online form for a class survey that has been completed over 30 times in the last hour – the power of Facebook… (remind me again, why I don’t publicise my writing on there?!).
What else… nothing much really. Monday isn’t the busiest time of the week. The coming days are far harder to get through. I’m supposed to be on a course later this week, but the same person is running it who had to cancel a course last Tuesday, so I half expect that to happen again.
I thought earlier that the malty fruity loaf bread Soreen should be advertised using a reworded version of the Dolly Parton classic Jolene.
I investigated a potential malware attack on the work website – which turned out not to originate from us.
I seem to be writing more in these ten minutes than I do when I actually sit and think about what I’m going to write…
I took two photos this morning of frosty spider webs:
I still have the last hour or so of the Race Of Champions to watch, the new addition of a Ryder Cup style America vs the rest of the world event – I still marvel at Sebastian Vettel’s solo victory for Germany in the Nation’s Cup, although it’s not as wonderful as you’d imagine when each race lasts no longer than 50 seconds. Still, he was undefeated yesterday in Miami.
In other Formula One news, Bernie Ecclestone has been ousted from his position at the top of the sport – although the official announcement is still to happen tomorrow, and part of me wonders what F1 will do without him. It looks like three people are taking over the role he did. He has undoubtedly shaped the sport into what it is today, be that good or bad, more or less single-handedly and should be given a huge amount of kudos for doing so.
I genuinely can’t think of anything else to write now.
