126: What happened in the 2016 Russian Grand Prix?

Nico Rosberg won his seventh consecutive race and Sebastian Vettel crashed – or rather was crashed into.

In Russia, another power unit problem hampered Lewis Hamilton’s hopes and Kimi Raikkonen was too busy fighting a Williams to pose a significant threat which had looked likely earlier on in the weekend.

Nico Rosberg now has 100 out of 100 possible points, heading back to begin the European races in the best possible position to claim the title with both momentum and luck seemingly cheering him on.

Time will tell whether this will happen, but it doesn’t seem likely that he won’t win the championship at this moment in time – however, we have only had 4 races out of the 21 so far and it is very early to write off anyone else’s chances.
