111: Why not wear a cabbage leaf as a hat?

Wednesday is quickly becoming a difficult day to manage. The nature of it – the staff meeting at the end of school, along with 5 different lessons – means that I generally have 3 or 4 sets of books to mark at the end of it. Today, I managed to get one set done during lunch time, but I was struggling to get food eaten before the children came back in. Couple that with the fact that I need to move classrooms between the morning and the afternoon and solving a few IT problems on the way, means that my time is precious on this mid-week day.

So, it is only now that can even begin to think about shutting my brain off for the day. That is, after I’ve made sure I have everything in place for my lessons tomorrow though.

Along with all this, as a nice way to finish the day, I thought I’d share a picture of a cat in a cabbage hat wearing sunglasses. It brightens my day.
