I don’t know.
I have celebrated the birthdays of both Mrs Pitts and my sister this week through the fog of discomfort caused by my wisdom tooth extraction last Saturday. We are going out for a meal together with my dad tomorrow night and I hope I can get through it without too much of a problem. I also need to shave at some point but the area around my jaw is still tender and that may be troublesome.
I am pleased that I have got through the week – Monday was a necessary day away from work, which I’m not proud of – but the rest of the days have been an exercise in pain management alongside struggling to catch up with making resources after losing that in school planning time I usually have on Monday.
Today at work was quite trying. Two Computing issues happened: Year 2’s lesson was disrupted by a wifi access point firmware upgrade happening at precisely the wrong moment, throwing most of the children offline meaning they couldn’t send their work through to me; Year 4’s lesson was spent trying to get most of the laptops synced with new networked software which took far longer than I expected, although many people were accessing the same files at the same time so I probably should have managed that better.
Still… at least that software is definitely in place for next week’s sessions!
This weekend sees the Chinese Grand Prix. Having watched Practice 1, there may be plenty of interest happening. There seem to be some tyre problems, but only for a few teams. Nico Rosberg had an engine issue too at the end of the session.
I have also taken up a 30 day song challenge, which I want to post here alongside my usual daily blog. I must be mad.
