82: What do you do when you are given a 3D printer?

You try your best to get it working!

That is what I’ve been working on at work over the last few days – but only in my spare time. The printer is discontinued so parts and things are unavailable. I have a set of tools and a manual to get on with reading. I have cleared the nozzles so far and looked at re-routing the filament to a position where the plastic won’t break as often as recommended by a few posts.

The children are ridiculously excited about it. As am I. I would love to be able to spend some time getting a print out of it but can’t see that happening before the Easter break, which is a shame.

I’ll carry on troubleshooting over the next few days and maybe go in over the break to faff a bit more with it.
