What a lovely day today has been.
It was spent alongside Mrs Pitts and her mum and dad (and Kit and Cappy, of course).
The day began making bacon sandwiches – it’s not Christmas Day without bacon sandwiches. Mrs Pitts began preparation for the main cooking event. Once I had washed up from the bacon, I went out for a cache. Now, today wasn’t a calendar gap, but we want to keep the streak going until the end of the year – just six days left. A nice easy one in a local field. I didn’t see a soul. Afterwards, I picked up Mrs Pitts’ mum and dad for the afternoon.
Food was brilliant. Mrs Pitts did a great job.
The rest of the afternoon was spent opening presents. We both like to take our time over it.
The TV on offer wasn’t overly great this year – so we ended up sticking ITV3 on and being entertained by various Carry On films.
The rest of the night was spent with Mrs Pitts and Kit and having a lovely time.
A cracking Christmas.
