Today was spent conducting Morley And District Concert Band at Junction 32 in Castleford. The band sounded good. You would think that it would be busy given that today is the penultimate Saturday of the year before the Primary Gifting Period (Christmas) begins. However, it was surprisingly quiet all told. Still it flew by overall and I think a good time was had by everyone – it may have been a touch cold, but nothing crazy.
Afterwards, I went to geocaching event. Now, I have a habit of arriving late to these things, but it had begun at 12 noon and I arrived at 4:30pm. It’s fair to say that quite a few of the remaining hardcore cachers were enjoying themselves in a merry little way! Still, that was fun too.
And that’s been my day.
