Today was spent getting things ready for being back in school next week. Nothing very interesting went on to be honest. I haven’t watched a huge amount of TV, but listened to a lot of music.
I made a few tweaks to the Grange Moor site too, but that is pretty much good to go back online to the public. I really need more responses from band members about their profiles so they don’t all look empty.
The main event of the day was filling up another month on our geocaching calendar by grabbing one in a park in Bradford. That now gives us seven full months and just 89 empty days left to fill. It looks good. I’d show you the calendar but geocaching.com is currently down for maintenance as I write. Maybe tomorrow. As I write, geocaching.com came back online:
Tomorrow’s cache will most likely signal the end of a streak of finds that has been going for a long time – currently we have found a cache every day for the last 114 days. 115 is a nice place to leave it. Most of November is empty – we have only ever found 9 caches that month – but it is far harder to grab them then as the light is not our friend. If we had different jobs, ones where we could travel around for instance, that might make it easier. I think the plan will be to find and fill as many days as we can still, but possibly not be as obsessive about it. If a day proves too difficult to fill, it will be left. It won’t stop me planning where the next find will be though!
