Today was spent putting finishing touches to the Grange Moor Brass Band site. And I’ve done nothing else at all really.
Lots of TV was watched while doing this, catching up on things on the Sky+ box from a long while ago.
Dullness, I know.
The adventure to get a cache was quite interesting. I found myself on a bridge, above where I needed to be. Darkness was approaching at this time. I scrambled down the slope with a light from my phone. And then my battery went. This caused a double problem as I had no light and no way of accurately locating the cache. I had picked up my battery pack, so it was a short job to power it back up again after reaching a safe area at the bottom of the slope. Then I had to make my way through some brambles before climbing over another wall to reach a path. I eventually found it. And made my way back to the car, realising that I needn’t have gone through all that in the first place as there was a perfectly paved path to the location. Ah well. A bit of adrenalin never hurt anyone – a fall down a slope in the dark could have though.
We went out for tea too with my sister-in-law, who is over for the half term. Fun.
I really need to do something constructive tomorrow!
