No one made any effort on the homework. Disgraceful.
Most of today was spent out caching or sitting around staying out of Mrs Pitts’ way.
We only found two caches during the day, we attempted four. Tech Ricks Gifts is a series of 7 caches, mostly puzzles with unknown locations, each one leading to the next. We found the first two but the third one was missing. We had thought it might be as the last person to attempt it didn’t find it either. The last one we tried also had gone missing. Not finding a cache is really the complete opposite feeling to the elation of being first to find a cache.
Staying out of Mrs Pitts’ way – this was because my sister and her husband was coming round for tea. Therefore preparation was needed. The palmiers in particular needed sorting amongst other things. She made a fabulous chilli.
The rest of the evening was spent on the Wii together. And lovely it was too.
And then, just after we’d said goodbye to them, and I was considering what to write now, I checked my emails, and 6 new caches had been published, 3 within a mile for where I’m sat right now. This was at roughly 22:40.
So, the age old decision. Do we go and get a cache now, knowing we may well be guaranteed first to find, or do we leave these easy nearby caches for when we have a gap in our calendar and busy days at work?
We went, and grabbed, the first to find of course! Number 29 for us. That feeling is back again!
