12th August and today was the first calendar gap in our cache history for quite a while. The calendar is developing nicely after 893 caches found. I’m unsure whether we will reach our target of 1000 by the end of August. It seems quite far away with only 19 days left to hunt.

Today’s cache was called Rubik’s Cube (GC4C69T) and the coordinates were hidden on a photo of a Rubik’s Cube. I’ve posted them below. How I solved this was through buying a new Rubik’s Cube, mixing it up in exactly the same way by following an online solver backwards (harder than it sounds), then copying the information from the photo and resolving the Cube…
All of which gives us another souvenir:
In other news, I’ve spent a lot of the day working on the Grange Moor Band website, and Mrs Pitts visited the dentist and, let’s just say, she is an unhappy bunny.
I have no idea what the rest of the week has in store – but I need to find motivation to get things done.
