Day 208: More Geocaching Plans

Today has been an interesting day.

Mrs Pitts’ phone broke earlier, so a mission was launched to get her a replacement. We thought this would be a quick trip having spent a little time researching online first. Anyway, a trip to Birstall was fruitless as the handset we had settled on wasn’t in stock there. This lead us into Morley, where 5 of the little blighters were hiding. While there, we stopped off at Luppy’s Diner and scouted locations for a cache that I’d had in mind for a while.

This was where a little bit of genius happened in my brain. We decided to make this particular cache into a puzzle and quite a tricky one at that. I don’t really want to go into more details as the whole point of it is that it’s all hush hush!

Following this was a trip to my Dad’s house in order to check out whether another caching idea we had was possible or not – again, that’s a long story and not something we can put in place before our holiday.

The rest of the day has been about arranging caching details for our forthcoming break. I’ve had my head in puzzles all day and it’s a little mashed, but it means that we can visit places knowing exactly where to go and not spend time working them out while we’re there.
