Day 148: Work etc.

Today I have focussed on work with a short couple of hours entertaining a friend of ours from Grange Moor.

I planned roughly six weeks of Topic planning based around The Victorians. This lead to me putting together my research of the last few weeks to create lesson plans that I’m only half confident about. Doubtless they’ll be tweaked a lot as I review them and build resources for them.

Other than that, we have begun thinking about putting together a local geocaching route – one that we will be walking tomorrow in order to spot likely hides. I’m quite looking forward to plotting them on maps and really getting into some very geeky thinking…

I didn’t sleep particularly well last night, I couldn’t get comfortable at all and I was simply too hot, so the day has been spent in a bit of a fug. As a result,I’m going to quickly write about heptagonal numbers in a geeky maths post, then go to bed.
