As if having the daily blog and the Formula One stuff on here already wasn’t enough, I’ve decided to separate out the maths fact geekiness too so there may be more than one update a day depending on numbers…
Today was a full day of not very much that took forever to do. It began at Keelham Farm Shop – a place I’ve written about before (they do soup in a bag for a pound). Anyway, we needed a few things and the food is reasonable, yet lovely. I can’t think of a single thing we’ve got from there so far that I haven’t liked. Plus they have a gardening section and goats too. What more could anyone want?
On the way back, we stopped off for a milkshake at Kendall’s Icecream Factory – a place where punctuation doesn’t need to be accurate.
We arrived home just in time for the Monaco Grand Prix. Not exactly a thriller, more a disjointed, odd race due to two safety cars and a red flag stoppage. There was some action, but it never really got going. You can read my live report here and see the current Championship Standings in my funky graphs here.
With two laps to go, Sally, Graham and Isobelle came round for a lovely chat with tea and cake. Which took us up to tea time – gammon, egg and chips if you must ask – then to Grange Moor and band. Since it’s half term too, a quick trip to The Grange pub afterwards was enjoyed too.
Now, to decide on a mathsy title thing…
