Day 132: A Short Update

I’ve already written about today’s Spanish Grand Prix and produced graphs of standings in the two championships.

The race was ok, nothing special. A very tactical race – the only problem with that is they tend not to be very exciting to watch. Sure, there were 82 pit stops, but that’s too many really. Some drivers stopped four times, effectively turning their 66 lap race into 5 sprints of 13/14 laps. The race never settled apart from two lulls in action which again, is no bad thing, but really hard to follow.

Anyway, the rest of the day was spent working on a  little job for Grange Moor band and playing at a concert for them in Grange Moor. The band sounded good and it flew by.

My aunt posted this photo of me on Facebook from my first Christmas back in 1983. Highly embarrassing but that didn’t stop me making it my profile photo or posting it on here!

I’d love to say I’ve done more. But, I haven’t. Tomorrow sees the first of the Year 6 SAT tests – nothing that involves me though as maths doesn’t happen until later in the week. Stress levels may well be quite high, but all will be well. Getting the first one over is always the hardest part I think.
