Day 114: A General Rule Was Followed

Today has flown by without any real incident. Work consisted of a Literacy lesson (building scanning and skimming skills), a Numeracy lesson (solving word problems and developing calculator skills), and then a trip down a ridiculous hill to a local church where an exhibition about bibles was being held. This could have gone one of two ways with my current class, but they were exemplary and enjoyed their time there. There were many different bibles there, including the hand written one that my class took part in two years ago. I just wish I could remember which part we wrote as I would have loved to have shared that with my current class.

A staff meeting was held after work (after walking back up the ridiculous hill) during which we discussed many interesting things. None of which I will bore you with now.

A lot of my evening was taken up with designing a new report format for school (I said I wasn’t going to discuss that meeting…) and watching TV, as well as staying out of Mrs Pitts’ way as previously instructed – granted that was while I was getting under her feet, but as a general rule, it’s probably worth following.
