Today is notable for it being Captain Satsuma’s first birthday. He has spent a whole year in his bowl now and we’ve not even managed to kill him once. That’s not an easy thing to achieve for a messy thing like a goldfish, but with some careful management, we’ve done it.
In other news, Mrs Pitts returned home to a happy Kit and an even happier Mr Pitts. Kit has really settled in now, she is happier to spend time in the same room as us now, for instance! Before only fleeting moments were spent together as the rest of the time she was hiding under the kitchen table. Right now, she is curled up beside me on the sofa, half asleep.
