Nothing massive to report today. Work was the usual spread of good and bad things, managing different opinions and ideas – not always successfully. And then children get added into the mix to make life that extra bit complicated.
Anyway, away from work, my head still isn’t wonderful. A good lie in tomorrow will solve that I hope.
Mrs Pitts and I went to see Les Misérables at the local cinematorium tonight. I had seen the stage show around 15 years ago but Mrs Pitts had never seen it before. I would thoroughly recommend hearing the people sing (do you see what I did there?) as they are particularly fabulous at it. Anne Hathaway is astounding – her version of I Dreamed A Dream is sublime, full of emotion and has everything Susan Boyle’s good, but soulless, version lacks. Meanwhile, the rest of the cast works well together to make a very enjoyable two and a half hours. Although you may want to find some way of moving around a little as my legs were killing me from sitting in one position by the end.
This is by far the most worrying part of being 30 so far. A bad head and poor knees. All downhill…
