Foel Farm Park

Foel Farm Park near Brynsiencyn on Anglesey offers a great family visit to experience the sights, sounds and smells of a real working farm. We invite all visitors to meet, touch and feed the animals. Foel Farm is situated in a beautiful beachside location on Anglesey in North Wales with stunning views of Caernarfon Castle, the Menai Straits and Snowdonia. There are tractor & trailer and quad bike & mini-trailer rides, pony rides, chances to feed and meet the farm animals, and a lot more! There is also a Café & Bistro Bar, Gift Shop and even a Chocolate Workshop where you can see chocolates being made – something for children and adults alike. See the attractions page for more about what Foel Farm Park on Anglesey has to offer.

Plas Newydd

Set on the shores of the Menai Strait amidst breathtakingly beautiful scenery, this elegant house was redesigned by James Wyatt in the 18th century. The 1930s restyled interior is famous for its Rex Whistler association, containing his largest painting and exhibition. A military museum contains relics from the 1st Marquess of Anglesey’s tenure, who commanded the cavalry at the Battle of Waterloo. There’s a fine spring garden and Australasian arboretum, with an understorey of shrubs and wild flowers, a summer terrace, and massed hydrangeas which give autumn colour. A woodland walk gives access to a marine path beside the Menai Strait.

Anglesey Sea Zoo

At Anglesey Sea Zoo you can experience incredible invertebrates in the No Bone Zone, and submarine Wolves! The thrill of crashing waves, before getting inside the Seven Sisters Shipwreck! See conservation in action at the Lobster Hatchery and the Seahorse Nursery. Then walk the Shark Pool grids, and glimpse a Kelp Forest full of huge fish. With over 150 species, all from around our coasts, come and discover. Get close to marine life with daily talks and feeds with our biologists. See live diving displays and have a go at Virtual Scuba Diving, or even take to the ocean for real on a Seafari! Outside there’s the massive Octojump bouncy castle, the Pirate’s Playground, Captain Jake’s Crazy Golf, Gator Swamp Boats, the Cannon Blaster and incredible shoreline views of Snowdonia with Anglesey ice cream for the big kids that just prefer to relax.
