Introductions and Welcome!

Hello and welcome to my newest blog.

I have been a passionate follower of Formula One for many years now, 13 at the time of writing – the tragic 1994 season was my first real exploration of the sport. That year’s show down between Michael Schumacher and Damon Hill at Adelaide, along with Ayrton Senna‘s fatal crash are among my earliest F1 memories.

The purpose of this blog is to follow the goings on throughout the season and give my opinions on whatever lies ahead. I, of course, welcome your feedback too and have set up a forum in order for you to do that (registration is required but it’s a quick and painless process!)

Being in Britain, my coverage is provided by ITV with James Allen and Martin Brundle commentating. One of them is sublime and couldn’t be better (well, he was…) and the other isn’t. To say the least. More on that as the year progresses no doubt.

Roll on March 18th!
