I know a lot of you know about this site’s history and the things about it that I’m not particularly proud of. Well, one of the people who’s work previously appeared on this site was Peter Perkins, who sadly died in March 2004. Peter’s work is something that I’d recommend you all go and read.
I’m not in the best position to comment on what his best work was. The items of his I published I enjoy tremendously and while I have explored his site further, I don’t feel that I should give you my opinion on this.
Peter wrote about a lot of topics, not all of them from a comic point of view. However, most will raise a smile and give an insight into the man that he was.
And let’s face it, isn’t that the point? Isn’t the reason why we write things a way to express the thoughts and feelings we have inside? Peter offers glimpses into his suffering in his work but doesn’t make a huge deal from it.
It is quite clear to me that he deserves recognition for his pieces. Please visit his site.

What, I’m supposed to give this mess a name?!
