Apart from playing music for people in glorious sunshine, it takes a great deal of organisation to make a concert happen.
It begins way back in January with many a phone call to allocate which bands play where. My sister takes charge of this and does a good job too. We have two concerts, one was this afternoon and the other is next Sunday.
The rehearsals since January have been leading up to these concerts. Most pieces have had many run throughs. However, this year an emergency play-list change was needed after a few members were unable to join us at some of our practices. But all went well in the end!
