This holiday lark is becoming hard. But only because I’m beginning to start thinking about work again and probably a week too soon. The thing is, I’ve never really been very good at not having structure to my days – clearly work provides that. In fact a school day provides the perfect structure for me as lessons tend to have a fixed time and I know when I need to do all the other jobs that fit around them.
Holidays are too relaxing. Days are flying by and I’m not sure I’m taking full advantage of them
Mrs Pitts is getting a little wound up with my daily question of, “What are we doing tomorrow?” I do understand that, however I hate not knowing what I’m doing tomorrow. I don’t know what I’m doing tomorrow by the way and it scares me a little.
Today though was filled with little things: we visited Mrs Pitts’ mum, Kit visited the nice vet lady, we found 3 geocaches, had a visit from Sarah and Tom and cleaned some parts of my car (a gargantuan job because I’m a mucky pup really).
It’s become the August tradition that I post the updated geocache souvenir quilt thing, so here it is.
In a way, marking the days like this is probably not helping. It’s ramming the idea home to me that time is drifting by. I suppose these daily blogs do the same thing. I’ve said it many times before now, but it still amazes me that I am keeping this project going so far into it. I suppose that it will take something major to get me out of this habit now, although I don’t believe that it’s something I’ll do through 2014 yet. I don’t want to fall back into the rut of never posting though…
Ruts all around – a bit of a rut race (that was funnier in my head).
