A few things to write about today. Firstly, I’m still waiting to write the blog I wanted to on Saturday… that is getting pretty annoying. I bet it isn’t half as good as in my mind when it comes to writing it either.
Secondly, a correction. A few days ago, I wrote that the death of marshall Paolo Gislimberti at the 2000 Italian Grand Prix was the last fatality in Formula One. However, yesterday’s events where an unnamed marshall at the Canadian Grand Prix was tragically killed by a mobile crane (see related articles) brought to light that I had forgotten about Graham Beveridge, who was killed by flying debris at the 2001 Australian Grand Prix. I apologise for the mistake. It just goes to show that motor racing is dangerous.
Tonight has been about writing reports. I still have a few things to organise for them but should get them finished by the end of the week all being well.
As well as this, after Mrs Pitts had come home from an hour of swimming, we made lollipops. 6 were made in total, out of various juices, in our Zoko Quickpop make which freezes ice pops in as little as seven minutes without electricity.
The device can make striped pops, yoghurt pops or flavoured core pops – where the centre of the pop is different to the outer shell. We tried making stripey pops, core pops and one from an Innocent peaches and passion fruit smoothie!
