Let’s begin with some maths. 1!+4!+5! = 145, that is (1) + (4x3x2x1) + (5x4x3x2x1) =145. This phenomenon makes it a factorion. There are only three other numbers that have this property: 1, 2 and 40585.
Tonight we saw Blood Brothers at the Leeds Grand Theatre. We had seen it before on our trip to London in February 2010, where Mel C (yes the Spice Girl) was Mrs Johnston. And believe it or not, she was brilliant. Absolutely wonderful. Tonight, Mrs Johnston was played by Maureen Nolan. Now, she wasn’t as good as Mel C, but still very good.

The main thing about the show though are the two boys. The actors have to be believable as seven year olds as well as men in their late twenties/early thirties. The whole time scale of the thing eludes me right now!

Anyway, the story wasn’t diluted by the fact I’d seen it before as there is plenty to reward the repeat viewer – lots of little things get forgotten as a lot happens. Loved it again. If you get a chance to see it, whoever is in it, you certainly should.
