Another day out of class for me. Becoming silly.

This one was to have time to discuss with children their feelings about maths. It was hugely entertaining and very enlightening.
Highlights include the quote, “Maths makes your brain clever,” and how so many children realised that being good at maths meant they had a better chance of getting a decent job. In fact that was the most lovely part of it.
An early birthday present appeared at work today too. Mrs Pitts had organised a Graze nibble box for me, consisting of a summer berry compote, banoffee pie, lightly salted popcorn and a cheddar and biscuit mix they call Cheddar Gorge. If you’d like a free Graze Box, you could use the voucher code CKVWPHQD on their website!
Today also marks six years since I first met Mrs Pitts while teaching on supply at her place of work. Tomorrow will mark six months of marriage too along with the last day of my twenties. Mrs Pitts is fond of goats, hence the photo.
As I type, snow is falling once more. We are meant to cache tomorrow, but the snow may alter our plans yet again. Not enjoying the break in caching!
