Today has been a good day I guess. My lessons went well and I’m currently having the afternoon as Non-Contact Time to do some preparation for the coming weeks.<\/p>\n

Mind you, after this week there’s only next week until half term<\/a>! A week’s holiday. This time has flown by if I’m honest and I’ve really enjoyed it. Teaching’s definitely what I want to do. Although there’s still a plan in the back of my mind to become a journalist<\/a> at some point… we’ll have to see how things go I guess.<\/p>\n

Anyway, the reason I’m not liking life is down to my birthday. I’m 22 tomorrow and I’m not sure I’m going to enjoy it. I generally don’t like birthdays, the whole passing of time thing I guess – but still, I’m young!<\/p>\n

I think the main reason I’m worried about being 22 is that it’s such a big year in my life. Or at least it will be if all goes well. This is the year I finish my degree and hopefully end up with a full time teaching job. If all goes to plan. If not, I’ll see you in Debenhams<\/a> for the rest of my life…<\/p>\n

I couldn’t do that. Working full time over summer’s hard enough.<\/p>\n
