As I&#8217;m sure you know, a square number is arrived at by multiplying a number by its own self. So 2 times 2 is 4, and 3 times 3 is 9.4 and 9 are called &#8220;square&#8221; because they are the area of a square shape that&#8217;s 2 feet tall and 2 feet<\/p>\n<p>4 and 9 are called square because they are the area of a square shape that&#8217;s 2 units tall and 2 units\u00a0wide, or 3 units by 3 units.<\/p>\n<p>Today is April 4th, 2016, the 4th day of the 4th month, so we write it as 04\/04\/16 &#8211; and 4 times 4 is 16,<\/p>\n<p>The next ones will be:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>5th May 2025<\/li>\n<li>6th June 2036<\/li>\n<li>7th July 2049<\/li>\n<li>8th August 2064<\/li>\n<li>9th September 2081<\/li>\n<li>10th October 2100 &#8211; depending if we write it as 10\/10\/100<\/li>\n<li>11th November 2121<\/li>\n<li>12th December 2144<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I enjoy dates like this.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I am a fan of square numbers.
