I positively avoid social contact if at all possible. Yet, I am putting my thoughts and views out to the world on this site &#8211; not that I ever expect anyone to read it.<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t know where this all began. I am quite an introverted person. Mrs Pitts will tell you that, when we are out and about, I pretty much never speak to people &#8211; never order food, never interact &#8211; simply avoid it as much as I can.<\/p>\n<p>Technology has been quite a saviour for me. I can shop online. I can email people. I can text them. Some people may think that is a poor substitute for social contact &#8211; but when I think about it, I only really speak to colleagues at work and friends at the various bands I am linked with. There could be times &#8211; if I were on my own &#8211; that I could go some time without even speaking if I wished.<\/p>\n<p>Whether that would make me a different person, I don&#8217;t know.
