{"id":22412,"date":"2013-12-25T22:59:16","date_gmt":"2013-12-25T22:59:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thomasjpitts.co.uk\/wp\/?p=22412"},"modified":"2013-12-25T22:59:16","modified_gmt":"2013-12-25T22:59:16","slug":"day-359-christmas-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thomasjpitts.co.uk\/wordpress\/2013\/12\/25\/day-359-christmas-day\/","title":{"rendered":"Day 359: Christmas Day"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>What a lovely day today has been.<\/p>\n<p>It was spent alongside Mrs Pitts and her mum and dad (and Kit and Cappy, of course).<\/p>\n<p>The day began making <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Bacon sandwich\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Bacon_sandwich\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">bacon sandwiches<\/a> &#8211; it&#8217;s not <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Christmas\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Christmas\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">Christmas Day<\/a> without bacon sandwiches. Mrs Pitts began preparation for the main cooking event. Once I had washed up from the bacon, I went out for a cache. Now, today wasn&#8217;t a calendar gap, but we want to keep the streak going until the end of the year &#8211; just six days left. A nice easy one in a <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Local field\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Local_field\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">local field<\/a>. I didn&#8217;t see a soul. Afterwards, I picked up Mrs Pitts&#8217; mum and dad for the afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>Food was brilliant. Mrs Pitts did a great job.<\/p>\n<p>The rest of the afternoon was spent opening presents.
