{"id":223,"date":"2008-06-28T16:18:47","date_gmt":"2008-06-28T16:18:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thomasjpitts.co.uk\/wp\/?p=223"},"modified":"2008-06-28T16:18:47","modified_gmt":"2008-06-28T16:18:47","slug":"east-riddlesden-hall-keighley","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thomasjpitts.co.uk\/wordpress\/2008\/06\/28\/east-riddlesden-hall-keighley\/","title":{"rendered":"East Riddlesden Hall, Keighley"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>My first adventure as a <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"National Trust for Places of Historic Interest or Natural Beauty\" rel=\"homepage\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nationaltrust.org.uk\">National Trust<\/a> Member was to <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"East Riddlesden Hall\" rel=\"wikipedia\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/East_Riddlesden_Hall\">East Riddlesden Hall<\/a> in <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Keighley\" rel=\"wikipedia\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Keighley\">Keighley<\/a> with a very dear friend&#8230; I&#8217;ve actually been here twice a week apart &#8211; once as a visitor and once to a wedding there. Now, this place is lovely both inside and out, except that inside the main house operates a <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"One-way traffic\" rel=\"wikipedia\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/One-way_traffic\">one way system<\/a> where you have to visit each room in turn &#8211; we were positively scolded for daring to enter a room without following the desired approach. Very odd.<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, here are links to the photos from both visits. The first time was again cloudy, with spots of rain in the air, but the second time was in glorious sunshine.
