Grange Moor Brass Band<\/a>‘s new web site<\/a> went ‘live’ (a horrible phrase) today. So far it has had over 200 visitors since the switch on at 12 o’clock. Links from Facebook<\/a> and Twitter<\/a> have helped boost that number too. After I have written this, I will be adding some photos to that site from this afternoon.<\/p>\n

Speaking of which, playing in Bradford<\/a> for their Christmas<\/a> celebrations \"340\"<\/a>was a nice experience, if a little cold. It was a well organised event – we had two dedicated members of the council looking after us – and there was a little crowd for most of the time we were playing too.<\/p>\n

After the playing, there was a geocaching<\/a> event in Keighley<\/a>. Events are opportunities to gather with others are chat about geocaching. It’s a total geek fest. They are relatively rare – we’ve only attended 9 of them in four years and I can’t think of that many we’ve passed on. At the end of the day, it’s a very easy way to get a cache gap filled.<\/p>\n

So, no work done today for the first time in ages. And it’s absolutely flown by.<\/p>\n
