{"id":22130,"date":"2013-11-15T22:47:18","date_gmt":"2013-11-15T22:47:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thomasjpitts.co.uk\/wp\/?p=22130"},"modified":"2013-11-15T22:47:18","modified_gmt":"2013-11-15T22:47:18","slug":"day-319-a-few-nice-things","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thomasjpitts.co.uk\/wordpress\/2013\/11\/15\/day-319-a-few-nice-things\/","title":{"rendered":"Day 319: A Few Nice Things"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Movember\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Movember\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">Movember<\/a> thing may not be the best idea I&#8217;ve ever had &#8211; the inability to actually grow <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Facial hair\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Facial_hair\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">facial hair<\/a> is causing me issues. However, it isn&#8217;t stopping people making <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Donation\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Donation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">donations<\/a>. Today has been a bumper day for people helping me out, 15 days in.<\/p>\n<p>Two parents from school &#8211; both of children I don&#8217;t even teach &#8211; have given money to my pot. That is something I never expected to happen. Other parents of those in my class have also donated, but one of them I don&#8217;t have any contact with whatsoever! I have made a point to email both of them and share my thanks. I can&#8217;t explain to them how nice it is of them.<\/p>\n<p>Elsewhere, a caching friend (not just from caching but in actual life too; they just happen to be cachers) has also made a donation tonight, with a promise of further donations being made by their relatives, who also happen to be cachers too!<\/p>\n<p>Yet another cache was found today in the darkness. It isn&#8217;t an easy thing to do, but it is becoming easier the more I do.<\/p>\n<p>The rest of the day has been lovely overall. Very little to either be annoyed with or get excited about.
